Proposals have been developed by Morrison Community Care (CCG) Holdco Ltd, an innovative joint venture company comprising Morrison Community Care Group, a leading care developer, and CCG Homes parent company, CCG (Scotland), and include a 60-bedroom care home specially-designed to meet the needs of elderly people as well as 18 apartments intended for private sale.
Designed in partnership with Holmes Miller Architects, 24/7 residential, nursing and dementia care services will be available to residents over the age of sixty-five alongside a wealth of integrated amenities such as private en-suite bedrooms, dining areas, a hair salon, visitor’s cafe and cinema.
The 18, two-bedroom apartments will be brought to the market by CCG Homes with the development potentially set to join a growing portfolio of projects that includes the currently marketed Calderwood Lodge, which comprises the delivery of 20 luxury homes in Glasgow’s Southside, as well as a further 30 homes in Greenock and 56 homes in Edinburgh which are set to launch later this year.
David Wylie, CCG (Scotland) Managing Director, added:
“Morrison Community Care and CCG are continuing to make positive strides forward in the support of Scotland’s Care sector. With four completed developments, two under construction and a further five due to commence in 2024, we (at CCG) are proud to be bringing our diverse divisional expertise to the Care Sector and supporting MCCG in the delivery of high-quality care homes across the breadth of the country.
“The unique aspect of Edinburgh Road is the introduction of homes for sale which will be led by our CCG Homes brand. I am in no doubt these apartments will be in high demand given Linlithgow’s popularity and the close proximity of amenities and transport links. It’s an exciting development for the town and one which we will aim to launch around mid-2024.”
