Nominated in the Starter Home of the Year category, the award commemorates a housing development and specific house types within it that are accessible to the first-time buyer market.
One of nine house types in total, ‘The Maxwell’ is a fantastic 2-bedroom mid-terrace property that reaches 764sqft. It has a flexible, open-plan living arrangement that is complemented by ample, integrated storage, high-specification as standard as well as a rear garden and two car parking spaces.
With prices originally from £167,000, the house type and others were snapped up at a record pace – Western Terrace is now over 55% sold in just over 8 months.
We are also delighted to state that our parent company CCG (Scotland), alongside principal clients South Lanarkshire Council and hub South West, has also been nominated for Whitlawburn Regeneration, of which Western Terrace is a part of contributing to a combined total of 311 mixed-tenure homes. The wider masterplan has been nominated for Housing Regeneration and Large Affordable Housing of the Year.
We extend our thanks to all of our partners involved and wish all of this year’s finalists the very best of luck.
The Scottish Home Awards will take place 23rd of June.
