AT CCG Homes, nothing excites us more than creating beautiful contemporary homes that are meticulously designed to suit the needs of their new owners.
Located on Riverford Road to the north of Auldhouse Park, and within walking distance of the historic Pollok Country Park, Riverford Gardens is our newest development. Not only does it boast a stunning riverside location, but it also offers a contemporary feel incorporating the finest and most comfortable of interiors.
In this blog, Envision Interior Design owner Eileen Kesson tells us what inspired her to create the stunning looks seen throughout the luxurious Riverford Gardens Show Home which is set to launch on the 1st of June 2019.
“The first thing that struck us about Riverford Gardens is how light and airy the properties are. Our chosen colour palette had to reflect the modern and minimalist vibe of the homes, so we chose an on-trend pale grey and stone theme with rich slate blue accents to add richness and depth.
“The open plan kitchen and living space will undoubtedly be the hub of the home – an area where owners will want to relax, cook and entertain – and so it important that these two spaces harmonise. In the show home, we set out to achieve this by using two calming textured linen wallcoverings from French designers Casamance, while dressing windows with a luxurious velvet drape on sleek gunmetal tracks.
“We selected a comfortable modern corner sofa upholstered in pebble coloured suede, which fills the corner of the lounge and faces the bright window wall. The floors are a washed grey oak finish, and that same flooring continues into the hallway with a contrast floor tile for the second bathroom, offering continuity. The whole scheme is so simple, yet effective and dramatic at the same time.”
“For the master bedroom, we wanted the design to exude the high-end and luxury feel of the Riverford Gardens development. The room’s centrepiece is a stunning bespoke full-width headboard in a vintage velvet – it is absolutely gorgeous, and it spans the wall and bedsides to create a real boutique hotel vibe. That is finished off with a combination of throws and cushions to create a cosy and intimate vibe.
“The walls are decorated in a broken silver design which radiates with the natural light coming through the windows. The whole room boasts subtle tones of stone and accents of blue which echoes the unusual tiling in the en suite which has a distinctive Spanish inspired mosaic tile design.”
“Bathrooms at Riverford Gardens feature designer sanitaryware, a choice of ceramic Porcelanosa wall tiling and chrome thermostatically controlled showers, with the added touch of a drench shower for en-suites. Both are styled to complement the colour themes without the property.
“These new properties are aspirational and high end. It was important to us that we created a harmonious and seamless flow of soft toned luxury throughout the apartment, and introduced points of contrast and texture. There is so much that can be done with these new homes and it will be up to each new resident to decide how they make their house into their home.”
