CCG Homes has reached a major milestone in the delivery of their flagship housing development Riverford Gardens achieving their 100th sale.
Set within the confluence of Pollokshaws and Newlands in the south side of the city, construction commenced at the luxury 156-home development in March 2018 with sales launching in September of that year.
Buyers immediately delighted at the unique riverside setting and the range of property styles including one-and-two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom semi-detached houses and four-bedroom terraced villas.
All of CCG Homes’ sales have been taken within 14 months including 39 during the winter period alone. With a further two sales releases set to launch over the coming months, CCG Homes Managing Director Calum Murray is confident that their current rate of sale will continue to be as positive.
He said: “When I think back to 2017 when the CCG Group acquired the site, Scotland was just emerging from one of the worst recessions to have ever impacted the economy. Many people may have perceived taking forward a development of Riverford Gardens’ scale in a recovering property market would have been too much of a risk but we believed that we had something special and we have proven to be right.
“The demand for our homes has been unprecedented but to achieve 100 sales in just 14 months is an outstanding achievement thanks to the collective effort of our sales and contracts teams. I cannot praise them highly enough in delivering the highest standards of quality and customer service.
“I have every confidence that Riverford Gardens will continue to be successful as we move towards final completion in the autumn.”
The Minister for Local Government, Housing and Communities, Kevin Stewart MSP, recently visited the development describing it as a “testament to the strength of Scotland’s new build sector” and was “impressed” by the new homes’ quality and energy performance standards.
Riverford Gardens is due for completion in October 2020 whilst CCG Homes is to embark on another major development this summer with 81 two and three-bedroom homes in Cambuslang.< back
