Businesses have a duty to manage workplace risks under existing health and safety legislation, in addition to the specific requirements set out in the Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Requirements) (Scotland) Regulations 2021.
The regulations state that a person who is responsible for a place of worship, carrying on a business or providing a service must:
Staying safe and protecting others guidance provides further considerations, in particular measures that can be strengthened now in response to the Omicron variant.
For CCG Homes, the safety of our staff and purchasers is paramount and that is why we will have a series of protocols in place at our Western Terrace Show Home and Marketing Suite to ensure that your homebuying experience will be as enjoyable and safe as possible.
These are as follows:
Should prospective purchasers wish to visit the Western Terrace Show Home and Marketing Suite, you will have to book an appointment in advance with the CCG Homes Sales Team. This protocol is in place because we want you to enjoy the viewing experience without the worry of being in close contact with others whilst allocated time slots will also allow our sales team time to sanitise between visits.
A maximum of two people per appointment will be allowed to attend and we respectfully ask that parents refrain from bringing children in order to minimise the risk of close contact and /or transmission with others when moving around the sales complex.
We would also ask that attendees refrain from trying to gain entry to the Marketing Suite before your appointment time. If you are early, please wait in your vehicle; our team wish to give a personalised sales experience to everyone who visits Western Terrace and this can be made difficult with interruptions during a very short appointment timeframe.
To book your appointment, please email the CCG Homes Sales Team via or call 0141 643 3727
CCG Homes have a series of measures in place to help restrict the transmission of COVID-19 within our Show Home and Marketing Suite, however, the greatest risk of transmission is if a person has the virus. In this instance, we must ask that all persons attending the appointment take a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) within 24 hours of arrival. Our sales staff will also undertake regular testing.
Should you or any of our staff members test positive for COVID-19 at the time of your appointment, it will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity after the recommended isolation period has elapsed.
Upon arrival at our Show Home and Marketing Suite, you will note the provision of touch-free hand sanitising stations which are free for you to use. You will also be required to wear a face mask when moving around the property unless proof of medical exemption is provided.
For you to safely discuss any potential purchase with our sales team, a protective screen divides both the purchaser seating area and the sales desk. Our sales staff will also respect 1m distancing at all times.
Our sales team will clean between each appointment by sanitising sales areas and any surfaces that require to be touched by our staff members or purchasers including such things as door handles and product samples. We will also have professional cleaners attend the sales complex regularly and will ensure that our Show Home and Marketing Suite are well ventilated at all times.
